Historique :	On ne connaît, de ce peintre très peu connu (portraitiste originaire de Lorraine, né à Adélancourt en 1776 et mort à Rennes en 1844), que deux tableaux disparus de l'église d'Hédé (35) et trois portraits conservés au musée de Rennes dont il fut le conservateur.
