Historique :	Saint Eutrope est notamment le patron du prieuré d'Escalmels, de l'ordre des Augustins , fondé en 1118 et détruit au moment des guerres de religion ; seule la chapelle fut reconstruite.

Précision_sur la representation :	Saint Eutrope est représenté en évêque portant une mitre ornée de pierre. La chasuble est agrémentée d'un galon entourant l'encolure et descendant sur le devant. Ce saint est souvent représenté avec la hache de son martyre, ici manquante (mais elle pourrait avoir été tenue dans sa main droite).
