Description :	Le cadre du tableau est brun et or est cintré dans la partie supérieure et surmonté d'une figure couronnée d'une coquille. Les côtés sont ornés de feuillage et de volutes.

Précision_sur la representation :	Le Christ au centre du tableau, ceint du périzonium retient de son bras gauche un manteau qu'un ange soutient derrière lui, tandis qu'une autre ange placé plus haut à gauche, lui présent un drap. Saint Jean-Baptiste, debout sur la rive droite du Jourdain est appuyé sur sa croix où sont enroulés des phylactères et vêtu d'un manteau rouge. Il verse de sa main droite l'eau du baptême sur la tête du Christ. Au-dessus de la scène vole la colombe du Saint-Esprit dans une nuée rouge rayonnante.
