Précision_sur la representation :	La Vierge est assise à demi sur une cathèdre. Elle est vêtue comme une moniale : guimpe, large bandeau sur le front, manteau couvrant la tête et les épaules et atteignant le sol, voile huméral, lourde robe serrée à la taille, chaussures à bouts carrés. Elle porte ses mains jointes relevées à la poitrine et regarde vers la droite son fils allongé sur ses genoux, sa tête pend en arrière et sa chevelure touche le sol. Le bras droit raidi du Christ pend à l'oblique sans atteindre le sol, le bras gauche à l'horizontale longe le corps et la main repose sur la cuisse au niveau du périzonium. Les jambes sont repliées et parallèles, les pieds sont nus. L'anatomie du corps du Christ est très sommaire et ses mensurations très faibles.
