Description :	L'autel de marbre est galbé, prolongé par des panneaux de faux marbre vert sur fond gris surmonté d'une tablette. Le registre inférieur présente des panneaux rectangulaires de part et d'autre d'un tabernacle de marbre rouge.

Historique :	L'église de Siran a été construite de 1752 à 1758, son retable doit dater des années 1758-1760. C'est un bel exemple du premier style Louis XVI. La toile a été refaite en 1804 par le peintre aurillacois F. Reyt.

Précision_sur la representation :	Au dessus le retable présente un tableau représentant une Crucifixion encadrée de part et d'autre par une colonne de marbre rouge, à chapiteau corinthien, un panneau de faux marbre vert, deux pilastres (en faux marbre vert et rouge) et un S renversé. L'ensemble est surmonté d'un large entablement avec une corniche en saillie supportant au centre un fronton cintré et orné sur les côté de feuilles d'acanthes enroulées et sur chacune des extrémités un pot à feu.
