Précision_sur la representation :	La Vierge est assise sur un rocher, elle est vêtue comme une moniale avec une guimpe, un large plastron, et d'une robe plissée assez courte laissant apparaître des pieds nus. Un long manteau couvre sa tête et ses épaules, ses pans sont ramenés sur les genoux. La Vierge penche sa tête vers la droite, regardant le visage du Christ représenté plus petit. Elle le retient sur l'avant-bras droit, relevant ainsi légèrement sa tête. Les doigts de sa main droite apparaissent sous l'aisselle du Christ, tandis que sa main gauche est posée sur la tête. Le bras droit du Christ pend à la verticale sans atteindre le sol, son avant-bras gauche sur celui de sa mère et ses jambes retombant parallèlement à la verticale avec les pieds sur un rocher.
