Précision_sur la representation :	Cette Vierge de Pitié est composée à l'inverse du schéma traditionnel. La Vierge vêtue d'une robe à grands ramages fleuris est à peine assise, sa longue coiffure brune n'apparaît que très peu sous le voile blanc et court qui couvre sa tête. Sa robe serrée très haut sous la poitrine par une ceinture dorée, laisse apparaître des pieds nus. Une large écharpe agrafée à la base du cou, cache le col. Le corps du Christ est particulièrement petit. Sa tête repose dans la main de Marie qui de la main droite retient la jambe gauche du Christ dont les jambes sont ballantes. Le bras gauche tombe à l'oblique et le droit est replié sur le ventre.
