Historique :	Oeuvre exécutée vers 1650-1675 par Guillaume Bernisson, orfèvre à Rodez. Le pied et la tige suivent le parti habituel employé par Bernisson, à la fois pour les calices, ciboires et reliquaires. Ce ciboire est à rapprocher du reliquaire, sans poinçon, conservé à Vabres et du reliquaire classé Monumenst HIstoriques de Murat.

Précision_sur la representation :	Le pied est formé d'un cercle de métal auquel sont soudées des feuilles d'acanthe découpées. Collerette à godrons, noeud décoré uniquement dans son registre supérieur par des entrelacs d'oves et de motifs floraux. Le couvercl surmonté d'une croix, offre un décor de feuilles d'eau avec canaux et de fleurettes.
