Historique :	Placide Poussielgue-Rusand, Paris, 2e moitié 19e siècle. Période d'activité de la maison Poussielgue-Rusand (1847-1891). Cette coupe très haute rapelle celle du calice de Monseigneur Hervée et donne à ce vase sacré l'aspect d'un hanap civil, encore très sobre quoique richement orné et assez éloigné des pièces néo-gothiques que réalisa parallèlement cette même maison. Ce modèle est très proche du n°374 du catalogue de 1880 de la maison Poussielgue-Rusand et figure toujours dans celui de son petit-fils et successeur en 1900.
