Historique :	Claude II Dulaure, Clermont-Ferrand, 1719-1795. Fils de Bernard Dulaure, orfèvre, il naît à Thiers le 15 octobre 1719. En mars 1752, il est reçu maître par cession d'une lettre de création et décède à Clermont le 1er septembre 1795. Parmi la dizaine de pièces que nous connaissons de lui, la très grande majorité date des années 1775-1780, période durant laquelle il fut vraissemblablement le plus productif, qu'il s'agisse d'orfèvrerie civile ou sacrée. Son poinçon : écu écartelé, chargé aux 1 et 2 d'une fleur de lys, aux 3 et 4 des lettres C et D.
