Historique :	Cette matrice a servi jusqu'à la fin de l'Ancien Régime pour authentifier les actes de l'administration municipale. On découvre sous Louis XV des empreintes de ce sceau, gravé par un artiste probablement illétré qui inversa un signe et fit deux fautes de latin.
