Historique :	Tapisseries des flandres. Un grand nombre de tapisseries furent réalisées sur des cartons de Teniers (1610 ; 1690) des la fin du 17e siècle et le début du 18e siècle. Celles ci furent données par le ministre de Louis XVI Molleville, à la famille de Fumel et entrées par mariage dans la famille des propriétaires actuels. Elles furent installées dans le hall du château par une des ancètres de M. de Varax qui le fit restaurer dans le style viollet-le-Duc afin de les y installer. Une tapisserie identique à la plus grande se trouve au château de Cheverny.
