Description :	Au-dessus du tombeau de l'autel, le tabernacle semi-hexagonal vient en saillie par rapport aux deux panneaux rectilignes qui le prolongent s'achevant en S renversés. L'ensemble est divisé par des colonnes torses en cinq éléments contenant une niche garnie d'une statuette polychrome et couronné par une balustrade. Au-dessus du tabernacle, un petit baldaquin surmonté d'un Christ de la Résurrection. Au registre suivant, deux grandes colonnes torses avec chapiteaux corinthiens encadrent une toile : le Christ en croix entre la Vierge et Saint Jean-Baptiste, partiellement cachée par un élément rapporté. Deux S renversés viennent en retour aux extrémités. Au-dessus de la corniche, qui comporte deux amorces de fronton triangulaire, une grande niche, prise entre deux colonnes torses dorées, prolongées sur les côtés par deux S renversés, contient une statue de Saint Jean-Baptiste polychrome. Elle est surmontée d'un fronton triangulaire occupé par Dieu le père en bois doré, pris à mi-corps, les bras écartés. Deux consoles en gaines, avec décor polychrome, étaient destinées à recevoir les deux bustes-reliquaires polychromes, un évêque et un saint, placés actuellement entre les colonnes torses et faisant partie intégralement de cet ensemble.
