Historique :	Epoque Louis XVI. Ce tableau serait l'ancienne toile centrale de l'ancien maître-autel de l'église. Tableau copié d'après une estampe de Michel Dorigny de 1638, d'après Vouet. L'original de Vouet a été peint en 1632-1633 pour la chapelle du château de Rueil, pour le cardinal de Richelieu.

Matériaux :	toile (support);bois : taillé, doré
Précision sur_l'état :	oeuvre restaurée en 2014 par Daniel Valéan ateliers Malbrel.
Précision_sur la representation :	La Vierge est agenouillée, les mains jointes, devant l'enfant Jésus qui vient de naître. Sur la gauche de la toile un ange debout est en admiration, un autre est placé plus haut au centre, au chevet de l'enfant. Derrière la Vierge se tient saint Joseph debout à côté du boeuf. Au second plan, côté gauche sont placés les mages représentés sans attributs. Un groupe d'anges assiste à la scène depuis les nuages placés tout en haut à droite.
