Historique :	Le retable composé uniquement de la boiserie et de l'antependium porte dans sa superstructure la date de 1753. Il ne comporte plus de colonnes comme ceux de la période précédente. Une Trinité verticale, le Père assis sur un trône, en chape et coiffé d'une tiare, tenant de ses deux mains un crucifix la colombe entre eux, occupait la niche centrale du retable. Ce thème du Trône de Grâce venu du Moyen Age paraissait la tentative la plus satisfaisante pour représenter cet intraduisible mystère. Il fut approuvé par une bulle du pape Benoît XIV.
